Go Barefoot & InganeKwane @ Soweto Theatre.

This June 4th at the world Class Soweto Theatre, we usher in Youth Month with a roaring edition, of the award winning SOWETO ART & CRAFT FAIR.

Formed 4 years ago by a team of young enterprising twenty somethings, the fair has blossomed into a staple event which brings together a varying crowd; to bask in all the fun & appreciate the array of bold & beautiful handmade arts & crafts, that are the heart & soul of this groundbreaking initiative.

Jozi Unsigned in partnership with Concerts SA, are thrilled to be bringing to the Soweto Art & Craft Fair stage, the feel-good indie-kwela folk sounds of Go Barefoot; who’ll be opened for by neo-jazz outfit Inganekwane quartet. Both these spirited acts and their distinct South African flavour, make for a sublime addition to all the fashion, food, art & more that the fair has in store.

We invite you to come contribute to this bubbling local art & culture economy, by shooing the Winter blues away, with an afternoon of all things bright & beautiful.

Family-friendly, fun & free; the Soweto Art & Craft Fair is the place to be.

Concerts SA is a joint South African/Norwegian initiative housed under the auspices of the Stakeholder Hub within the SAMRO Foundation; it receives financial, administrative and technical support from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the SAMRO Foundation and Concerts Norway.

The project aims to support live music in South Africa by finding and implementing ways to create a vibrant and viable live music circuit.
