HAZARD Gallery is pleased to present Sounds and the City, a collaborative exhibition between curator Nolan Stevens and a selection of visual artists.

The exhibition began with each artist selecting a piece of local South African music and subsequently creating works that reflect on the visual and auditory pulse and rhythm of life in inner city Johannesburg. Participating artists include Gordon Froud, Amber-Jade Geldenhuys, Vivien Kohler, Danbi Lee, Zwelethu Machepa, Ziyanda Majozi, Boitumelo Mazibuko, MC Root and Nolan Stevens with the exhibition spanning paint, sculpture and photography.

The exhibition opens to the public on Saturday 4 February, and continues until Sunday 26 February.
